Born at 24 weeks Joshua sustained significant injury to his cerebral cortex, the part of the brain that controls muscle movement. His most noticeable difference is his limp. Continuous tightening (spasticity) of his tendon restricts his heel from meeting the floor, causing a toe-walking pattern. Over the years he’s been thru therapy, casting and botox. The next step being surgery. Cerebral palsy not only affects his gross motor skills, but also his fine. In spite of this thru Christ Jesus he is victorious.
